Scope and Content |
This Fonds consists of records created, received or accumulated by the Legislature of Hong Kong from 1843 to present in performing its constitutional duties, such as scrutinizing legislative and financial proposals of the Administration, monitoring the formulation and implementation of public policy, studying issues of public concern and handling complaints and representations lodged from members of the public through the Redress System of the Council.
Records in this Fonds include order papers and agendas, Sessional Papers, minutes of meetings, voting results, registers and inventories, authenticated Ordinances, Hong Kong Hansard (floor, Chinese and English versions) and complaint records.
