Scope and Content
This series relates to the work of the Finance Committee, including meetings, consideration of outstanding issues and follow up action, and changes to the approved Estimates of Expenditure approved under delegated powers. The records also cover questions ruled out of order on the draft Estimates of Expenditure, supplementary questions, replies from the Administration and the Budget debate.

The records document the members attending the meetings, summary of proceedings and decisions taken. Production of a verbatim record for the whole or any part of a meeting is arranged with the agreement of the chairman and the committee when necessary.

The contents of files include replies to questions, briefing and speaking notes, agenda, minutes, attendance lists, publications, reports, letters, circulars, seating plans and information notes.
