Scope and Content

This series relates to the work of the Public Works Subcommittee of Finance Committee, including meetings, consideration of proposals for expenditure relating to the Government's public works programme, official visits, revised terms of reference for the Subcommittee and resignation of members.
Among the subjects covered by the records are roads and highways, slaughterhouses, sewage disposal, water works, dredging and conversion of government buildings.
The contents of files include agenda, minutes, memoranda, briefing notes, attendance lists, information notes, reports, maps and environmental impact assessments.
